WIP Wednesday: the very first one

“Is it time for a story?” asked the young boy in the bed, his eyes wide with anticipation of the tale that was to come.

“It certainly is,” came the voice with its warm, comforting tones, a perfect combination for a night when the wind howled and the moon glowed. “I have a tale of lost worlds and impossible creations for you tonight, a tale I doubt you’ll ever forget.”
